
The High School Academic Research Competition (HSARC) is where talented students from around the world compete to present high-quality research on any topic. HSARC challenges students to sharpen their critical thinking skills, immerse themselves in the research process, and hone their writing skills for success.
The branding system was designed to communicate credibility, innovation, and scholarly achievement, positioning HSARC as a prestigious destination for emerging researchers worldwide.


HSARC needed a brand identity that felt both academically credible and engaging for high school students. The challenge was creating a visual system that could represent diverse research disciplines, appeal to a global audience, and maintain consistency across digital, marketing, and event collateral.
Developing a modern identity centred on Discovery Through Research, combining an atomic-inspired star logo, the contemporary Unbounded typeface, and a bold colour palette of navy, electric blue, and vibrant green. Together, these elements create a distinctive and scalable brand that communicates innovation, academic excellence, and future potential.
